Nerrigundah Gold Project

A District-Scale Gold Opportunity

The Nerrigundah Gold Project, located within the Eden district of south-east New South Wales, encompasses extensive historical gold workings across more than 30 historic mine sites. Between 1880 and the 1930s, approximately 22,500 ounces of gold were extracted from the Nerrigundah district, reflecting a substantial and sustained gold mining operation across the region.

Despite this significant production history, systematic modern exploration remains limited. The project represents a district-scale exploration opportunity with multiple target areas reflecting historical mining success. The project area is characterised by similar geological settings to the Yambulla Gold Project, with potential for both high-grade lode mineralisation and broader system-scale potential.

The Nerrigundah Gold Project will form part of Super Minerals’ systematic exploration strategy, with activities including ground geochemistry surveys, geological mapping and target evaluation to prioritise drilling opportunities. The extensive historical mine record provides a strong foundation for exploration planning and target generation.
